Wind gusts can be 40 per cent stronger than the forecast, and stronger still in squalls and thunderstorms. Maximum waves can be twice the forecast height. ================================================================================ Weather Situation Vigorous westerly flow with trough near 57S155E 60S160E, forecast near 55S161E 59S171E at 211200UTC and continuing east of area thereafter. No further warnings will be issued for this event.
