PRIORITY TROPICAL CYCLONE ADVICE NUMBER 13 Issued at 08:46 AM WST on Saturday 29 March 2025 Headline: Heavy rainfall expected in the Kimberley as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Dianne moves inland. Areas Affected: Warning zone: None. Watch zone: None. Cancelled zone: Kuri Bay to Derby, including Derby . Details of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Dianne 28U at 8:00 am AWST: Intensity: Tropical Low, sustained winds near the centre of 65 kilometres per hour with wind gusts to 95 kilometres per hour. Location: within 45 kilometres of 17.1 degrees South 123.9 degrees East, estimated to be 35 kilometres northeast of Derby and 215 kilometres northwest of Fitzroy Crossing. Movement: south at 13 kilometres per hour. Ex-Tropical Cyclone Dianne is near Derby, moving southwards and weakening. Hazards: Refer to Severe Weather Warning bom.gov.au/wa/warnings/ HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is likely in parts of the northern and western Kimberley, extending to further inland parts of the Kimberley and adjacent North Interior over the weekend as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Dianne moves further inland. Gales with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS to 100 kilometres per hour may still occur over coastal areas between Cockatoo Island and Derby this morning.
