Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Victoria This Flood Watch provides early advice of possible flooding within the specified catchments. Final Flood Watch For Parts Of North East Victoria Issued at 12:24 PM EDT on Tuesday 03 December 2024 Flood Watch Number: 2 MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED FROM TUESDAY Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast across north eastern Victoria for the remainder of Tuesday but rainfall totals are not expected to be significant. Catchments in the Flood Watch area are relatively wet after recent rainfall. River and creek levels are elevated within some of the catchments. Further rainfall is forecast over parts of the Flood Watch area from Friday and into the weekend, with renewed flooding possible. Flood watch and warning products will be issued as required. A flood watch is no longer current for the following catchments: Upper Murray and Mitta Mitta Rivers Ovens and King Rivers Seven and Castle Creeks A minor flood warning is current for the Kiewa River catchment.
