Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Tasmania Final Flood Warning For The Meander River Issued at 10:53 AM EST on Tuesday 10 September 2024 by Bureau of Meteorology, Hobart. Flood Warning Number: 19 MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT WESTWOOD BRIDGE Across the Meander River catchment river levels are easing with levels at Westwood Bridge below the minor flood level. Showers are forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, however this is not expected to cause significant river level rises. Meander River below Strathbridge: No further flooding is expected in the Meander River below Strathbridge. The Meander River at Westwood Bridge was around 3.60 m at 08:40 am Tuesday 10 September and falling, below the minor flood level (4.00 m). The Meander River at Westwood Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m). Liffey River: River levels are elevated but continuing to ease along the Liffey River.
