Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology South Australia TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning - Adelaide Region for Yankalilla, Victor Harbor and Western Alexandrina council areas. Issued at 2:10 pm Sunday, 7 January 2024. cancellation of severe thunderstorm warning - adelaide region for the following areas: Yankalilla, Victor Harbor and Western Alexandrina Severe thunderstorms are no longer affecting the Adelaide Region. The immediate threat of severe thunderstorms has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Keep clear of fallen power lines. * Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road. * Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. A more general severe thunderstorm warning remains current for the Mount Lofty Ranges, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands, Upper South East and parts of the Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Flinders, Lower South East and North East Pastoral districts. No further warnings will be issued for this event. Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 210. The Bureau and State Emergency Service would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
