Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Queensland This Flood Watch provides early advice of possible flooding within the specified catchments. Flood Watch For South East Queensland And Lower Condamine River Issued at 01:28 PM EST on Monday 10 March 2025 Flood Watch Number: 9 ELEVATED RIVER LEVELS AND LOCALISED FLOODING REMAIN POSSIBLE DURING MONDAY AND TUESDAY Rainfall associated with Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has caused minor to major flooding across much of South East Queensland and surrounding catchments. Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast during the remainder of Monday and into Tuesday over South East Queensland and across the Condamine River area. Catchments are wetting up or saturated across the Flood Watch area. Rapid river level rises and flash flooding remain possible with localised heavy rainfall. Riverine flooding and localised inundation remain possible over the next few days. Catchments likely to be affected include: Pine and Caboolture Rivers Condamine Rivers Mary River Sunshine Coast Rivers and Creeks Macintyre River Weir River Flood Warnings are current for the Logan and Albert Rivers, Bremer River and Warrill Creek, Laidley and Lockyer Creeks, Upper and Lower Brisbane River, Upper Condamine River, Maroochy, Mooloolah and Noosa Rivers, Burrum and Cherwell Rivers, Mary River and Nerang and Coomera Rivers (Gold Coast Rivers and Creeks).
