Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Queensland Final Flood Warning For The Weir River (Qld) Issued at 10:29 AM EST on Thursday 16 January 2025 Flood Warning Number: 5 FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT TALWOOD Rainfall last week has caused river level rises across the upper Weir River catchment. The flood peak is approaching Giddi Giddi South where the river level remains below the minor flood level. However, the flood peak is not expected to cause flooding downstream at Talwood. Weir River downstream of Giddi Giddi South: Flooding is no longer expected along the Weir River at Talwood. No observations are available at Talwood. Based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level (3.00 m). The Weir River at Talwood is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.00 m).
