Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Queensland Final Flood Warning For The Nerang And Coomera Rivers Issued at 09:30 AM EST on Wednesday 03 January 2024 Flood Warning Number: 6 RIVER AND CREEK LEVELS GENERALLY PEAKED AND EASING No significant rainfall totals have been recorded since 9 am Tuesday in the Nerang and Coomera catchments. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days. Pimpama and Coomera Rivers: Major flooding is easing along the Coomera River at Clagiraba Road, with river levels eased below minor elsewhere. Nerang River: River and creek levels are generally peaked and easing. No further flooding is expected in the Nerang River. Mudgeeraba Creek: River and creek levels are generally peaked and easing. No further flooding is expected in the Mudgeeraba Creek. Tallebudgera and Currumbin Creeks: River and creek levels are generally peaked and easing. No further flooding is expected along the Tallebudgera and Currumbin Creeks. Flood Safety Advice: Remember: If it's flooded, forget it. For flood emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500.
