Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Queensland Minor Flood Warning For The Boyne River And Final Flood Warning For The Lower Burnett River Issued at 11:56 AM EST on Monday 06 January 2025 Flood Warning Number: 8 MINOR FLOODING EASING ALONG THE BOYNE RIVER AT DUNOLLIE Moderate to heavy rainfall last week resulted in river and creek level rises across most of the Burnett River catchment. Minor flooding is now easing along the Boyne River at Dunollie. No significant rainfall is forecast across the Burnett catchment in the next few days. Stuart and Boyne Rivers: Minor flooding is easing along the Boyne River at Dunollie, Cooranga and Derra. The Boyne River at Dunollie was recorded at 2.90 m and falling, at 6:10 am on Monday, above the minor flood level (2.50 m). The Boyne River at Dunollie may fall below the minor flood level (2.50 m) late Monday. Burnett River downstream of Mundubbera to Paradise Dam: Flooding is no longer occurring along the Burnett River downstream of Mundubbera to Paradise Dam. No current observations are available for the Burnett River at Gayndah. However, based on the nearby automatic gauge, the river level likely fell below the minor flood level (5.00 m) late Sunday.
