Flood Warning - Don & Proserpine River
Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, Queensland Final Flood Warning For The Don And Proserpine Rivers Issued at 07:41 AM EST on Thursday 13 February 2025 Flood Warning Number: 2 FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT BOWEN PUMP STATION Rainfall has eased in the Don River catchment, and river levels are easing. A peak below the minor flood level was observed at Bowen Pump Station Wednesday afternoon. No further flooding is expected. Further showers are forecast over the next few days, however these are not expected to result in further significant river rises. Don River: No further flooding is expected in the Don River. The Don River at Bowen Pump Station peaked at 2.28 metres around 3:00pm Wednesday 12 th February and is currently at 1.75 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (2.50 m).
