Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre Tropical Cyclone Information Bulletin Issued at 11:00 AM EST on Monday 03 March 2025 At 10 am AEST Monday, Tropical Cyclone Alfred (Category 1) with central pressure 982 hPa was located over the Coral Sea near latitude 25.8 south longitude 157.3 east, which is about 465 km east northeast of Brisbane and 430 km east northeast of Maroochydore. Tropical Cyclone Alfred is currently moving southeast but is expected to slow down and turn west, towards the southeast Queensland coast on Tuesday. Tropical Cyclone Advices IDQ20023 are current for Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Please refer to the latest Advice, http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDQ20023.html. No further Tropical Cyclone Information Bulletins will be issued.
