Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Final Flood Warning For The Camden Haven River Issued at 01:59 PM EDT on Saturday 08 March 2025 Flood Warning Number: 3 FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT LAURIETON Rainfall is forecast to continue in the Camden Haven River catchment over the next few days, however rainfall totals are not expected to significantly affect river levels. A Flood Watch is current for parts of the NSW Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, North West and Central West Catchments. Camden Haven River: Flooding is no longer expected in the Camden Haven River. The Camden Haven River at Laurieton is currently at 0.14 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (1.10 metres). Flood Safety Advice: In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500. * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place. * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood. * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains. * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water.
