Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Final Flood Warning For The Wallis Lake Issued at 06:36 PM EDT on Saturday 18 January 2025 Flood Warning Number: 4 "Re-issued to clarify forecast for Tuncurry" MINOR FLOODING EASED AT TUNCURRY Minor flooding has eased along the Wallis Lake at Tuncurry. A Flood Watch is current for parts of the Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, Hunter and Central Coast. Wallis Lake: No further flooding is expected in the Wallis Lake. The Wallis Lake at Tuncurry (Point Road) is currently at 0.80 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (0.90 m).. The Wallis Lake at Tuncurry (Point Road) is likely to remain below the minor flood level during Saturday. Flood Safety Advice: In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500. * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place. * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood. * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains. * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water.
