Flood Warning - Brunswick River
Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Final Flood Warning For The Brunswick River And Marshalls Creek Issued at 10:53 AM EDT on Monday 10 March 2025 Flood Warning Number: 16 FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT BILLINUDGEL AND MULLUMBIMBY The Marshalls Creek at Billinudgel and the Brunswick River at Mulumbimby both peaked below the minor flood levels early Monday morning. Further rainfall is forecast across the Brunswick River catchment, which may cause some renewed river level rises. However the river levels at Billinudgel and Mulumbimby are expected to remain below the minor flood levels. Marshalls Creek: Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Marshalls Creek. The Marshalls Creek at Billinudgel is currently at 2.24 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (2.50 metres). The Marshalls Creek at Billinudgel is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m). Brunswick River: Minor flooding is no longer expected along the Brunswick River. The Brunswick River at Mullumbimby (Federation Bridge) is currently at 1.86 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (2.50 m). The Brunswick River at Mullumbimby (Federation Bridge) is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m) . Flood Safety Advice: In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500. * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place. * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood. * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains. * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water.
