Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, New South Wales Moderate Flood Warning For The Warrego River (Nsw) Issued at 01:14 PM EST on Monday 14 April 2025 Flood Warning Number: 14 (Re-Issued to update the prediction text) MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT BARRINGUN, ENNGONIA AND FORDS BRIDGE Floodwaters from Queensland have caused moderate flooding along the Warrego River at Barringun, Enngonia and Fords Bridge. An initial flood peak has passed Barringun and is now approaching Enngonia. Upstream in Queensland, a second flood peak has passed Rocky, and likely to cause prolonged flooding along the Warrego River in New South Wales. A major flood warning is current for the Warrego River in Queensland. Warrego River (NSW): Moderate flooding is occurring along the Warrego River (NSW) at Barringun, Enngonia and Fords Bridge. The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 is currently at 4.61 metres and rising slowly, above the moderate flood level (3.80 m). The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 may peak near 4.70 metres during Wednesday, with the moderate flooding. The Warrego River at Enngonia was at 2.55 metres and rising around 08:00 am Monday, above the moderate flood level (2.50 m). The Warrego River at Enngonia may peak around 2.70 metres over the coming weekend, with moderate flooding. Prolonged flooding is likely as floodwaters arrive from upstream. The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash is currently at 2.47 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (2.30 m). The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash may peak around 2.90 metres later this week, with moderate flooding. Prolonged flooding is likely as floodwaters arrive from upstream.
