Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, National Water Operations Final Flood Warning For The Macleay River Issued at 06:02 AM AEST on Tuesday 05 August 2025 Flood Warning Number: 11 FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT GEORGES CREEK AND BELLBROOK River levels at Georges Creek and Bellbrook have fallen below the minor flood levels. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days. Macleay River: Flooding is no longer occurring at Georges Creek and Bellbrook. The Macleay River at Georges Creek was at 5.92 m and falling at 9:38 pm Monday, below the minor flood level. The Macleay River at Georges Creek is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m). The Macleay River at Bellbrook is currently at 4.90 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Macleay River at Bellbrook is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.50 m). Flood Safety Advice: Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous. Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways. Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads. Check the ABC and local media for updates.
