Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology New South Wales TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST Cancellation Of Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northern Rivers Forecast District. Issued at 10:42 am Friday, 25 April 2025. Heavy rainfall has eased in the Northern Rivers. Weather Situation A surface trough is combining with an upper trough to cause thunderstorms and moderate showers inland in the northern rivers.
