Return to heat for Perth
Having endured a January with all but seven days above 30 degrees, February has been a much cooler affair for those in Perth.
Whilst the month started off on the same track as January, all days since the 4th have been below 30 degrees and cooler than average, with Sunday 7th dropping to a winter-like 22 degrees.
This is in stark contrast to last year when eight of the first 12 days of February were over 30 degrees, with one day topping out at scorching 43 degrees, hotter than any day of January this year.
For those longing for the heat to return there isn't long to wait. Having nearly reached 30 degrees yesterday, Perth should reach near the mid-30's each day for the next four days, hottest on Monday and Tuesday when the mercury could nudge 35 degrees.

It isn't just day time temperatures that will rise however. Nights will also become uncomfortable for those who prefer to sleep cooler, as temperatures look to remain over 20 degrees until Wednesday.
Whilst the return to warmer temperatures may be welcomed by some, it will only be brief, with a cold front crossing the southwest on Wednesday bringing cooler conditions from Thursday. Whilst heat will rebuild past this it doesn't look to reach the heights of the next few days, a good compromise between those you prefer the cooler days and those who prefer things hotter.
