Hottest, coldest, wettest: all-time summer extremes in your state
We all love summer. Or most of us do, anyway. Indeed, in a poll we conducted earlier this year, you told us that your favourite Australian seasons are (in order): summer, spring, autumn, winter.
But even here in Australia, where every corner of the country can bake in summer, we experience variable conditions.
Below are the summer extremes in your state or territory. Please note that in some cases, we've included the district or other relevant details like elevation to help you understand where and why the records were set.

- Wettest day: Dorrigo 809.2 mm
