Snow on the way for Tasmania
Jessica Trevena

The first of two cold fronts crossed TAS today, with the second to follow tonight.
Temperatures over the west coast are forecast to be in the low teens on Saturday - which would make them the lowest since early October. Even Hobart is only forecasting 14 on Sunday - 5 below average.
Locations about the highlands will struggle to reach 5 degrees tomorrow, and a Bushwalking Alert has been issued for snowfalls developing down to 600 metres tonight.
The front will also be accompanied by strong, gusty winds: 90 km/h gusts are already being felt about coastal areas of the north and northwest and these will continue tonight.
The front will be followed by a frosty morning over the inland Sunday and Monday, before temperatures climb back to above average values next week.
